Walkers Snack Foods

Walkers Snack Foods needed to record 500,000 pallet movements every week to provide total tracking, traceability and recording of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.

David Maynard of Walkers said "ATMS were one of the few companies that could provide the hardware, the software and the expertise we were looking for."

 

The system now operates at all of Walkers' 14 sites and links back to the company's Oracle system over a wide area network. The system provides traceability, real time  production recording, real time material usage, stock age profile, total stock accuracy and reduced clerical work.
